§ 16-71. Enforcement and penalties.

The provisions of this article may be enforced by any duly appointed law enforcement officer with jurisdiction over the public lands, the division of code enforcement and/or division staff where applicable. All other persons are encouraged to report suspected violations of this article to an appropriate law enforcement agency or county department. Any person found in violation of a provision of this article may be asked to leave the public land property, issued a trespass warning, or punished in accordance with section 1-6 of the Lake County Code.
