§ 13-146. Definition.

  • For the purposes of this article, a special event is defined as an event that meets any one (1) of the following criteria:

    (a)

    Is intended to, or likely to, attract more than five hundred (500) people; or

    (b)

    Requires the temporary closure of any collector or arterial public roadway; or

    (c)

    Involves the use of pyrotechnics; or

    (d)

    Exceeds the maximum allowed number of patrons within an establishment.

    An event is still subject to this article even if it is specifically permitted by a zoning ordinance.
