§ 6-88. Inactive local licenses.

A person who holds a valid local license may go on inactive status. During this time such person shall not engage in contracting but may retain the local license on inactive status by payment of a fee established by the board of county commissioners. The inactive status shall be for a five-year cycle and may be renewed for an additional five-year term upon payment of an additional fee as established by the board of county commissioners. If a person wishes to reactivate his license, he or she must submit all items in section 6-83(b), with the applicable fee and adhere to the continuing education requirements of section 6-85.
