§ 6-4. Qualifications for practice.

No person shall engage in the business of contracting in this county unless he or she obtains the appropriate license or is exempted pursuant to section 6-5. Any person who desires to engage in the contracting classifications listed in F.S. § 489.105 Part I or Part II shall be either state certified or state registered. Any person who desires to engage in the contracting classifications listed in this Code but not in F.S. § 489.105 Part I or Part II shall be locally licensed.
