§ 21-1. Intent and purpose.

It is the intent and purpose of this article to protect the water resources of Lake County, Florida from the harmful effects of over-utilization during periods of water shortage and allocate available water supplies by assisting the St. Johns River Water Management District in the implementation of its water shortage plan.
