§ 5. FUNCTIONS AND POWERS.

The powers and functions of the District shall be those described in Section 190.012(1), Florida Statutes (2015). Consent is also hereby given to the District's Board of Supervisors to plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities described and authorized by Section 190.012(2)(a), (d) and (f), Florida Statutes (2015), regarding parks and recreational uses, security systems, and waste collection and disposal.
