§ 16-62. Definitions.

When used within this article, the following definitions shall apply:

Director means the county manager or designee.

Division means the Lake County Parks and Trails Division.

Motorized vehicle means any automobile, truck, motorcycle, or other vehicle propelled by power other than human power.

Motorized device means any device propelled by power other than human power, to include, but not be limited to, control line and radio-controlled scale model aircraft, boats, cars and trucks; scooters; skateboards; golf carts; and boats.

Public lands means those lands operated and maintained by Lake County pursuant to its Public Lands Management Program.

Special use permit means written permission to an individual or any group of individuals associated with a nonprofit organization such as a church, school, club or scout troop authorizing certain activities on the public lands.
