Article II. NOISE CONTROL |
§ 14-32. Legislative findings.
It is found and declared that:
(1)
This article is enacted pursuant to Article II, Section 7, of the Florida Constitution, which provides that adequate provision shall be made by law for the abatement of excessive and unnecessary noise, and by the home rule power of Lake County, Florida, set forth in F.S. § 125.01(1).
(2)
Excessive sound within the unincorporated county limits is a condition which is increasing in severity with the continued residential and commercial growth of Lake County, Florida.
(3)
The necessity in the public interest for the provisions and prohibitions hereinafter contained and enacted is declared as a matter of legislative determination and public policy, and it is further declared that the provisions and prohibitions hereinafter contained and enacted are in pursuance of and for the purpose of securing and promoting the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the Lake County, Florida.
